PBC
Gogolanyngor Aboriginal Corporation RNTBC (GAC) is the Prescribed Body Corporate (PBC) for Jabirr Jabirr/Ngumbarl (JJN) people of the North Kimberley as authorised by it’s members on 6 July 2018
Members
It is estimated that there are around 650 JJN people, 358 of who are active members of the PBC. Members are descendant from 23 apicals as noted in Determination.
Determination
Native Title Part A (WCD2018/004) was determined on 2 May 2018.
Native Title Claim Part B (WCD2020/002) was determined on
23 February 2020
Governance and Leadership
Board of Directors
Our organisation is governed by a local board of directors, made up of respected members of the Djarindjin community.
We ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of our people and that every dollar is used to generate long-term value.
