As part of the development of the Bindan Djak Ranger Programme Rosie and Bugsy arranged training for a number of young JJN members who are keen to be part of the new Ranger team.

Alyssa Cox, Kae-de Cox, Stephan Cox and Deshaun Matsumoto successfully completed Shipboard Safety and Marine Radio modules of the Maritime Training towards a Maritime Certificate – Cert I in Coxswain. The course is offered by TAFE in Broome and funded through the State’s Aboriginal Ranger Program awarded to GAC in July 2024. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the success so far.
